SECURITY GUARD SELECTION PROCESS

The screening process established by Guardian ensures that prospective security personnel:

• Are a U.S. citizen or legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be in good general health without physical restrictions, which could interfere with the performance of duties.
• Have well developed interpersonal communication skills and personality to fit your culture.
• Can withstand the scrutiny of a thorough background investigation.

Our security officers will perform critical functions designed to prevent unauthorized access to facilities, protect life, maintain order, maintain logs/reports, deter criminal actions directed against customers, employees, assets and provide emergency support. It is vital to ensure the best candidates fill these roles for Guardian and its customers.

SECURITY GUARD UNIFORM PROGRAM

Guardian employs for its standard security officer uniform a black/navy on black/navy shirt and slack with black accessories and gear. Supervisory personnel are traditionally in a white service shirt with eplets and the black/navy slack. Certain levels of Supervision or Account Management may be desired in the business-look attire. A variety of uniform styles have been widely accepted in all types of security environments. Each security officer assigned to your facilities will be issued one of the following styles of uniforms: We supply and maintain high quality uniforms for all officers. To be fully effective, a security service should be immediately visible.

Special equipment needs such as patrol vehicles, radios/communications, recording devices, flashlights, safety glasses and equipment can be provided for your specific program, at your request and financial consideration.
